PIP ltd (Property Information Products) currently offers the PIP Vault, a digital dataroom, opened by the estate agent, where the seller, conveyancer and estate agent can collate and store the relevant information so it is one accessible place for others to see. The site allows the seller access to a digital Property Information Form (PIF).
Other products in development include the PIPreport. This is a report prepared by a third party conveyancer who reviews the Title, searches and Property Information Form, identifying where information is sufficient for a sale and where further information is required. A further improvement to the residential sales process.
Being part of the solution that can provide a digital logbook for every property selling in the UK, is a long term target for PIP Ltd, but an achievable one.
Frustrated by the time taken to exchange contracts, PIP Ltd was established, in 2018, to provide a practical aid to speeding up the conveyancing process. We combined skills in estate agency, property auctions, conveyancing and IT.
Property auctions are able to achieve immediate exchange of contracts by showing the title, searches and contract for the property that is being auctioned. We have now developed this for the private treaty market.
Sellers can use their PIP Vault to collate and store their information, including a digital Property Information Form and Fixtures and Fittings Form. Potential buyers can see this information prior to offering on a property.
